ALLISON GLEADHILL MA VetMB Cert SAD Cert SAM PHD MRCVS (Cambridge 1986)

 

Allison has been working at Crab Lane since 1996. Her first job was as House Physician at Bristol Vet School. She has RCVS Certificates in Small Animal Medicine and Dermatology and a PHD in renal function from the University of London. Allison sees some referral medicine and dermatology cases but enjoys the long term follow up that is present in seeing long standing local patients. Having lived with two 20 year old cats Allison has a particular interest in geriatric cats.

 

RUTH ALCOCK BVetMed MRCVS (London 2002)

 

Ruth  has been at Crab Lane since 2006.

Ruth enjoys looking after the pet population of Harrogate and has worked closely with Frances Harcourt-Brown to become very knowledgeable about rabbits in particular.

 

 

HEATHER EASTHAM PGCertSAS BVMS MRCVS (Glasgow 2006)

 

Heather has been working at Crab Lane since March 2012. She has a keen interest in surgery and in December 2014 she was awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery - a qualification that she gained with a distinction!

The practice is very well equipped for surgery particularly orthopaedics as this was a major interest of Nigel Harcourt-Brown. Heather has both the equipment and expertise to tackle complex fracture repairs and regularly performs the TPLO procedure for cruciate repair,

In October 2021 Heather was awarded RCVS Advanced Practitioner Status for her expertise in small animal surgery.

PAUL HARRIS BVSc MRCVS (Bristol 1988)

 

Paul jas been working at Crab Lane since May 2020. Paul has a wealth of experience in medicine and surgery in both dogs & cats and some of the less common species we sometimes see as pets

Paul has been working in the area for most of his career and now happy to care for the pets of Crab Lane clients. 

LOUISE MORRISON BVMS MRCVS (Edinburgh 2017)

 

Lousie joined Crab Lane in January 2024 settling in the area after working in mixed practice in Yorkshire for 7 years.

She is enjoying getting to know our clients and their pets and using the range of equipment we have available.

All the veterinary surgeons are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. As a partcipant in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme we have to commit to a minimum of 35 hours CPD per anum to keep our knowledge upto date. We generally exceed this minimum  ammount.

 

We are assisted by receptionists, experienced and qualified Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants to enable us to take good care of your pet.
