This logo signifies that we have been inspected and meet the criteria laid down by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to be an accredited small animal general practice.

We have been inspected to show that our premises and equipment are suitable for the work we undertake. We have to demonstrate that we have appropriate diagnostic and surgical equipment, and that everything is installed and used in accordance with health and safety requirements. Hygiene and cleanliness are an important part of the accreditation.

The accreditation ensures that our staff are appropriately trained and qualified to carry out their jobs and participate in continued professional development. The accreditation also ensures that we meet our obligations to provide 24 hour emergency cover. This scheme is voluntary and around 50% of practices in the UK are accredited.
